Opera Australia's 2013 Cinema series continues featuring some of the most loved and spectacular productions ever staged. A highlight is the annual Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour, which is performed on a water stage on Sydney Harbour. This year it is Bizet's CARMEN. With the music, costumes, sets, fireworks and much more, this is a spectacle not to be missed.

Carmen - Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour

Set on a stage suspended above the water on Sydney Harbour, this awe-inspiring production by acclaimed director Gale Edwards and award-winning designers Brian Thomson and Julie Lynch features richly costumed soldiers, smugglers, cigarette girls, urchins, matadors and flamenco dancers swirling across the luminous set.
