CinemaLive are leading producers and distributors of Event Cinema, reaching thousands of screens worldwide, allowing fans the chance to see world-class music, theatre, opera, arts and other special live events at their local cinema. We hold many industry records, including the highest grossing live music concert event of all time at the UK & Irish box office (Take That: Wonderland Live from the O2), the highest grossing music event at the UK & Irish box office (André Rieu: Christmas with André), the highest grossing music event at the Australian and Canadian box office (André Rieu’s 2016 Maastricht Concert) and the highest grossing event in box office history in The Netherlands and Denmark (André Rieu’s 2016 Maastricht Concert).

Established in 2008, CinemaLive are one of the forerunners in the Event Cinema field and have a wealth of experience having worked with André Rieu Productions (since 2009), AEG, Universal Music Group, Sony Music, Digital Theatre and Opera Australia, distributing titles including Nirvana’s Live at the Paramount, The Old Vic’s The Crucible, Noël Coward’s Private Lives, Bruce Springsteen’s The Promise, Elton John’s The Million Dollar Piano, Madama Butterfly, Aida on Sydney Harbour, Grateful Dead’s final concert Fare Thee Well: Celebrating 50 Years of Grateful Dead and André Rieu’s annual Maastricht Concert.

CinemaLive can coordinate every aspect of the production and distribution of any event including filming, outside broadcast requirements, satellite networking and delivery, and comprehensive marketing and publicity campaigns.

CinemaLive belong to the Event Cinema Association and have received numerous industry awards across a number of their releases.

Peter Skillman

Director & CEO

CEO of The Shooting Star Company Group that includes CinemaLive. Peter has extensive experience as Head of Production of an Australian television network, EP on television programming and CEO of Australia's biggest post production facility.

Janelle Mason

Director & Executive Producer

Janelle has had a 25 year career in entertainment production, ranging from high end advertising, documentary, television to live multi-camera concert & event broadcasts. Her vast experience in all facets of production translate well across the board from creation and promotion of events to the planning and execution of the production and the ultimate delivery to the cinema audience.

Janelle is currently a Board Member of the Event Cinema Association.

John Travers

Jim L. Koh

Prior to joining The Shooting Star Company Group in 2011, Jim was the sole designer for an international environmental consulting company and was responsible for creating all corporate and marketing designs from '07 to '11. Jim designs all print and online marketing materials as well as maintaining and updating the CinemaLive website.

Victor Rodriguez

Victor is the latest addition to the CinemaLive team and he oversees the creation of the CinemaLive promotional content. Victor has been working as a Video Editor for over 7 years creating promotional content for TV and online. Here at CinemaLive he collaborates with the team by doing video editing and motion graphics.

Gene Marsh

Video Editor

Gene joined the CinemaLive team in 2013 and oversees the creation of all CinemaLive's trailers & promotional content. Prior to this he has worked in the broadcast and film post production industries on projects such as Baz Luhrmann's 'Australia' and 'Accidents Happen'.

Daniel Farr

DCP Creation & File Manager

Daniel joined the CinemaLive team in 2013 and oversees the creation and replication of all media assets including DCP's, trailers & promotional content. He has a wide knowledge and experience with all types of media formats with at least 8 years of experience in broadcast and cinema post production. Daniel is responsible for the creation and replication of DCP's and the distribution to all territories.
